Went to hike the Beaverhill Bird Observatory today, didn't see many snow geese, was told they were mostly to the south and would probably be flying over in a few hours, but saw black birds, coots, a duck, and grey geese, still got to see beautiful birds!

What a great weekend at the Curling with Pride Canada Nationals , got to see some great curling, and took lots of photos!

I enjoy taking photos of the curling, but also took some portrait type shots of the curlers as well, I like to capture everyone enjoying the event and sport they've trained so much for, and also trying to capture good memories for everyone to keep from the weekend!

It was fantastic to see and the kick off Nationals in Edmonton at the , so good to see this event in the city, and it's wonderful to get the opportunity to take photos throughout the event!

Was awesome to see multi time world champion throwing the first rock and supporting this event, and - the Oilers anthem singer singing the national anthem!

Was great to see the Curling with Pride Icebreaker Bonspiel this past weekend!

Great to watch the curling and get photos of everyone I could, always enjoy coming to these events - great group of people!

It was awesome to see the Vegreville Jr B Rangers on their way to a hard fought win on Friday evening, with 4 players from the original team there to do a ceremonial puck drop before the game!

On Saturday there were three alumni games, which were all great to watch - so good to see all these former Rangers players back to play in Vegreville, enjoy the great sport of hockey and re-live memories from years past, then there was a banquet after that to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vegreville Rangers - such a big milestone to celebrate!

Taking photos of all of this reminded me why I enjoy photography as a hobby, hope I was able to capture great moments to help keep memories from this event!
