The portraits are only one chapter.

The real story is everything that happens in between.

The quiet of getting ready. The look on Dad’s face. The nerves before the ceremony. The kiss that makes it official. The people who have known you forever. Ch*****ne, speeches, questionable decisions on the dance floor 😂 and that moment late in the night when the heels come off and the wedding becomes a PARTY.

This is why we never want a wedding gallery to feel like a collection of perfect photographs. We want it to feel like your day — exactly as you remember it, and full of things you didn’t even realize we caught.

From the morning preparations and ceremony to the celebration at Paramount Event Space, every part belongs in the story. 🤍

She told us she wanted something a little different. So we gave her different. 🤍

We met Loriana & Victor over a year ago, and there are some couples you just click with from the very beginning. These two were exactly that.

Beautiful, down-to-earth, ridiculously kind — and the kind of people who would genuinely do anything for the people they love.

When Loriana told us she wanted her wedding portraits to feel a little different from the expected, we were ALL IN.

A little editorial. A little romantic. A little unexpected. Movement, quiet moments, dramatic frames and the gorgeous stone and greenery of Bob Rumball as our backdrop.

And honestly? Creating a little magic with these two was way too much fun. ✨

Because wedding photography doesn’t have to be about recreating the same poses.

YOUR WEDDING DOESN’T HAVE TO LOOK LIKE INSTAGRAM. It should look like YOU. 🤍

We met Emily more than a year before her wedding, and it was pretty much love at first contact.

There are a million things we could say about this girl, but the best way to describe her?

Free.

Completely, unapologetically free.

Honestly, we’re fairly certain she was born in the wrong era. 😂

When it came to her wedding photos, Emily knew exactly what she DIDN’T want.

She didn’t want to spend her day posing.

She didn’t want to recreate whatever was trending on Instagram.

She didn’t want her wedding to feel like a photoshoot.

She wanted to marry Matthew.

She wanted to laugh until her face hurt.
Eat the food. Drink the drinks. Kiss her people. Dance. Be ridiculous. Get messy. And actually LIVE the day she had spent so long waiting for.

So that’s exactly what she did.

And THIS is what happens when you stop worrying about what a wedding is supposed to look like and just let it look like you.

The laughter. The chaos. The cake. The ch*****ne. The little looks between them. The moments that could never be recreated because they were never manufactured in the first place.

The word of the day: it started with F and had four letters. 😂

And somehow that perfectly sums up Alexia & Nicholas’ wedding day. 🤍

I have such a special bond with this bride, which made photographing these two even sweeter. Alexia is beautiful, hilarious, completely herself — and being around her means you’re guaranteed to laugh.

We wandered through Glendon Campus in Toronto, creating everything from romantic black & whites and sweeping veil shots to those big editorial frames we LOVE.

But behind all this elegance? 😂
Laughter. Chaos. Inside jokes. And one particular four-letter word making several guest appearances.

Because THAT is what we want a wedding gallery to feel like.

Not stiff.
Not overly perfect.
Not a performance for the camera.

Beautiful images that still feel like YOU.

This is what a wedding day should FEEL like. 🤍

Not perfectly posed.
Not overly planned.
Just two people completely wrapped up in their day — laughing, wandering, stealing kisses and soaking in every second.

From quiet moments between the two of them to the kind of laughter you can practically hear through the photographs… this day at The Royal Ambassador was effortless, elegant and full of LIFE.

And that’s always the goal.

Because years from now, we don’t just want you to remember what your wedding looked like.

They got married 7 years ago… but there was one tiny detail they never got around to. 😂💍

Meet Samantha & Lisen.

We photographed their wedding back in 2019, and if you’ve ever been to our studio, you may already know Samantha without even realizing it — her photo is STILL hanging on our wall seven years later. That should tell you a little something about this girl. 😂 She is outgoing, infectious and completely unforgettable.

Then this past Monday, we got a call.

“Are you available Saturday?”

Turns out… they were getting married. Again. Kind of. 😂

Back in 2019, in the craziness of wedding planning, they never actually completed their legal marriage paperwork. They had their wedding, exchanged vows, wore their rings and went on with life completely as husband and wife.

The plan was to make it official on their first anniversary.

Then 2020 happened.

One year became two. Two became five. And somehow… seven years passed.

So, seven years later, it was finally time. ❤️

And somehow the officiant had ONE appointment left on a Saturday — their anniversary.

Tell me that wasn’t meant to be.

They gathered some of the people who were there seven years ago, mixed in the beautiful friendships they’ve made since, walked through downtown Toronto together and finally finished what they started.

No huge production.
No traditional wedding dress.
No months of planning.

Just their people, a city full of strangers watching them celebrate, a whole lot of laughter… and two people who have already spent seven years proving that the paperwork was never what made them married.

Samantha & Lisen — officially, legally, FINALLY husband & wife. 😂🥂

And somehow, seven years later, we were lucky enough to photograph another chapter of their story.

Some couples just stay with you. ❤️

Your guests are the energy of your wedding. ⚡️

You can have the most beautiful room, incredible florals and every detail perfectly planned — but when the lights go down, the people you filled that room with are what make the party.

And energy feeds energy.

When the bride and groom are ON that dance floor — laughing, dancing, letting loose and actually enjoying the night they spent months planning — their guests feel it.

They get up.
They get closer.
They dance harder.
And suddenly the entire room is operating on one ridiculously high vibration. 🔥

Then add a great DJ who knows how to read a room and an MC who knows how to keep the night moving… and THIS happens.

A packed dance floor.
Ties coming off.
Shoes disappearing.
Kids dancing with the adults.
People doing things they may or may not remember the next morning. 😂
And photographs that actually FEEL like the night instead of simply documenting it.

So here’s our wedding advice:

Choose your people well. Hire a great DJ + MC. And when that dance floor opens — GET ON IT.

Because your guests will feed off your energy.

And these two?
They understood the assignment. 🖤
