One of my favourite tricks for a high end headshot photo is to match your wardrobe with the background.

For these team headshots, I photographed each team member on a grey background and changed the background colour in photoshop.

New Headshots for the headshot Photographer!

Everybody needs Headshot photos that they love, including the headshot Photographer

It’s been a while since I have had Headshots that I felt really represented who I am at that place in life.

I got new glasses and this is my current hairstyle and my facial hair is the correct length.

I have a ton of Headshots of myself that I really do love but the details are all different. I have a different hairstyle or a different pair of glasses or my facial hair is longer than preferred or my wardrobe is not how I want it to be.

I’m a couple of headshot wardrobe, my favourite shirt is a white button up similar to these two shirts but white. However, for the Headshots, the white shirt through too much attention away from my face and so although it’s my favourite shirt, it wasn’t the best shirt for my Headshots.

Headshot photography is all about your…. Head.

I know that sounds really shocking but it’s true! Your headshot photos help people recognize who you are.

It is easy to overdo it with jewellery and wardrobe, and the result is a headshot photo that is a little bit cluttered.

We don’t want anything distracting people from your face.

You obviously wanna feel confident and important so I do recommend clothes that make you feel great.

I believe it is Coco Chanel, who said before you leave the house take one thing off.

And that’s exactly it, sometimes when we want to look our best, we put too many things on, and it can be distracting.

If you must, wear one statement piece.

If you have a signature look, then you should absolutely wear that signature. Look for your headshot Photography.

Here are some examples of people who did not follow my headshot photography tips, and it made the photo better.

One lady wore a neon pink blazer and one of my tips is where muted colours for your headshot photos. That neon blazer is her signature look. Two years later, I was at a networking event in Prince George, and I saw her from across the room and instantly knew it was her because it was her signature neon, pink blazer. Very smart move on her part.

Another one of my favourite clients Narges Nirumvala✨(Official) chooses to embrace her natural hair that has a lot of volume. She insists on doing her own hair and makeup, and that is her signature look. I can spot her from a mile away at any crowded event. Her hair is her brand and that is a genius move.

My headshot photography tips are just suggestions and my only goal is that you have a headshot photo that moves your career in the right direction.
