Maybe it’s a creative class, artist talk, cultural workshop, community gathering, niche hobby, photoshoot, or something that’s a little hard to explain but you want to try it out.

We’re planning our fall and winter programming and always looking for artists, makers, facilitators, and community builders who want to see their ideas come to life.

🌸📸 Petals & Portraits
A Floral Adornment Workshop + Selfie Session

Join Abby Liwag of Bubuka for an afternoon of creativity as you learn simple techniques for creating your own floral adornment using seasonal blooms and botanicals. Create a headpiece, necklace, or wearable floral design, then visit our selfie station to capture a few photos before taking your creation home.

No experience necessary, just bring your creativity.

WOW. 💛

Together, we raised $1,740 through the Kultura Kubo Silent Auction!

Thank you to everyone who placed bids, shared the auction, and supported this fundraiser in any way. Swipe through to see some of the amazing items that found new homes.

Every bid helped us move one step closer to bringing Kultura Kubo to life at the Vancouver International Children’s Festival and creating a space that celebrates Filipino culture, creativity, and community.

We’re so grateful for everyone who showed up with generosity and support.

A huge thank you to all of our community partners for their incredible in-kind donations and contributions.

Our Kusikus Weaving Workshop with was full of people trying something completely new, figuring it out together, and slowly getting obsessed with the process 😭

Not gonna lie, some people walked in looking slightly terrified of the looms, but by the end of the night, everyone was LOCKED IN.

Huge thank you to Carol-Ann for guiding such a thoughtful and welcoming workshop, and to everyone who spent their Friday night weaving with us.
