I focus on documenting the emotional reactions, the energy , the blink-and-you-miss-it things happening all around you. But I also genuinely love creating portraits. I’ll squeal over good light, get excited about a backdrop, and occasionally act like a photo is about to win me a Pulitzer.

What it's like having me as your wedding photographer: I don’t stress and there is no lighting situation I can’t handle. Your disorganized family won’t make me crazy.

When it’s time for photos, it doesn’t feel like a photo shoot. It feels like a short walk together where you finally get a moment alone. The light is good, you’re a little giddy, a little relieved, and for a few minutes the wedding disappears and it’s just the two of you.

Those are the photos you end up loving the most, and it didn’t feel forced or awkward to get them.
