A special thank you to these two gents for stopping by the studio!

Firefighting has been a proud tradition in the Witzell family for generations, and it was an honour to capture this father-and-son portrait of two dedicated leaders in the fire service.

As Dave Sr. prepares to retire this fall after a remarkable career serving our community, I want to wish him all the best in this next chapter. Congratulations, Chief, on an incredible legacy, and thank you both for your years of service.

Last day of Spring Convocation for the CBU grads. Hope it’s a great one!

Feeling really fortunate to have met and photographed so many of you throughout this past year, excited to meet many more as grad season continues and more students come through the studio.

With Spring Convocation happening this week at Cape Breton University, I want to send a huge congratulations to all graduates. And a big thank you to everyone who trusted us with their grad photos this year. It’s been a busy season, and I'm incredibly grateful to be a small part of it.

Huge congrats to John on graduating from Rankin School of the Narrows!

I had an awesome time with this session, not only because John was fun to work with, but because we have IDENTICAL taste in movies and Vans shoes… and as a massive movie fan, that made for some pretty great conversation.

John is high-functioning autistic, and proud of it. One thing that meant a lot to hear afterward was that he felt comfortable during the session. That’s always the goal. Not everyone loves being in front of a camera, and sessions should feel relaxed, easygoing, and tailored to each person.

Thanks again, John, for a really fun session and some top-tier movie talk. Huge congrats on your graduation and all the best in what’s next!

Your professional image matters.

Before someone meets you, calls you, books with you, or walks through your door… chances are they’ve already seen your photo.

That image becomes part of your brand.

Cait came in for some updated portraits recently, and this session was a great reminder that professional headshots don’t have to feel stiff or overly corporate. They should look polished, confident, approachable, and most importantly, like you at your best.

Congratulations to MHS Grad, Leah!

Always love seeing the Memorial High grads coming over to the studio, it’s been great having so many of you in.

Also, thought I’d answer a few questions I get asked all the time about grad sessions…this goes for high schools and universities.

In my studio, you view your photos as we shoot, and make your choices so we can make adjustments and make sure you’re happy before you leave.

Final edited proofs are delivered the same day as your session, usually just a few hours later.

Web-sized digital files are included with any package ordered.

Edits are always included, and every image gets looked over with a fine tooth comb before anything heads to the lab for printing.
