I am completely blown away, in total shock, and deeply grateful.
โToday, I walked into the Chamber office to pick up a letter, only to hand deliver myself the biggest surprise: Iโve been nominated for Small Business of the Year at the 2026 SCBEX Awards!
โIโve been a photographer for 10 years now. A decade of early mornings, late-night editing, and pouring my heart into every single image. Truthfully, even after ten years, it can still feel like a struggle to truly be known in the community. Realistically, I know I probably won't make it to the finals and that is completely okay with me. Just being noticed, remembered, and nominated by someone in our community is already a massive win in my book.
โSeeing this nomination in my hands was the most emotional reminder that people do notice the hard work.
โTo whoever took the time to nominate me: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how much this validation means after 10 years in business. And to every client who has trusted me behind the lens over the decade,thank you for letting me capture your lives. โค๏ธ
