Photography Enthusiasts The St. Marys Photography Club was formed to provide an opportunity for individuals in the St.

Marys and surrounding area who have an
interest in photography to come together regularly. The club provides an informal, friendly, and supportive environment where photographers of all skill levels can share, learn, develop and explore the creative and documentary potential of photography.

Before our summer break the Clicks group voted for the contest theme of 'Circle'. The June meeting was a private tour of the Harrington Mill and the winning photo was taken during that event. Congratulations to GordB for the winning photo 'When Circles Mesh'. Runner up was StephanieT with 'Nature's Tears'.

Join Bruce County based photographer Karen Botting, as she offers guidance towards the art of seeing for more impactful photo compositions. Improve your composition-confidence by really "seeing" the subject matter of your photography and gain a more comfortable working knowledge of your camera. If you are a complete camera beginner or someone who has some experience but wants to expand this workshop is for you.

Our workshop will begin at the .ca shop at 46 Queen St. Ripley, ON. for the information and inspiration portion of the workshop. Then we will move to the Garden at 62 Park st. Ripley. for the hands-on portion. A rain-date is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug 5th at 10am.

Please bring your DSLR camera (or phone or other camera) for use during the workshop.

Please join us on Saturday, May 2nd at the St. Marys Public Library for an inspiring guest presentation!

Bruce County photographer Karen Botting will be sharing the growth of her individual approach to and joy in photography in her presentation "Finding The Photographer In Me". Join us as she shares her diverse subject interests explored in vibrant, energetic and introspective image.

This event will take place upstairs in the Library meeting room, starting at 10:30am. Elevator access is available and no cost to attend.

We can't wait to host Karen and we hope you will join us!
