Unfortunately, I have some difficult news to share. After spending another night in Emergency, it has been determined that I need to undergo surgery in London. My prognosis and recovery timeline are still uncertain, but I anticipate being out of commission for at least a week or two.

My wife has been reaching out to everyone with existing bookings to keep them informed, but we may inadvertently miss someone. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to send a private message, and she will do her best to get back to you.

For those who have recently had portraits taken, please know that editing and delivery will be delayed until I’m well enough to get back in front of my computer. I sincerely hope this is manageable for everyone, but I completely understand if the delay doesn’t work for you. In that case, I will gladly arrange a refund.

I cannot tell you how sorry I am for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. This is certainly not how I wanted things to go, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and continued support.

My hope is that this surgery will finally put an end to this rollercoaster of health issues and allow me to get back to doing what I love, serving our wonderful community and welcoming you into the studio.

When this wonderful Mom first came through the door of my new space at 95 Queen it was to get 2 beautiful Maude Lewis prints custom framed for her wall. 3 months later, I had the pleasure of working with her and her amazing son on a picture perfect evening out at the Cade Tract. If the emotion, the light, the setting and the warmth of this picture has anything to say about it, I think we truly captured the love. Thank you Tammy for giving me this opportunity✌❤

10 Years ago I had the sincere honour of capturing the Peters Clan out on their sprawling farm down the 96th. Sunday they gave me the shout out to make the journey again. There is a lot of love in this family and a lot of love in this photo. It was so great seeing everyone again! Hope your belated Thanksgiving on such a perfect day was equally as perfect ✌❤

Something that gives me a lot of pride in my street level full service store operations is seeing a job come to completion and the gratitude a client has. One amazing family right here!! Thank you to the Torrance crew for coming out last Saturday and having the patience to wait while I have tried to get myself back on track health wise. I am sure you were really itching to see what we were able to create on that beautiful evening and I hope this preview seals the deal. Truly a joy working with each and every one of you. Ok, so here it goes. The last 2 weeks have been a bit of a challenge. After 3 visits to Emerg, 2 multi night admissions to Stratford and an overnight in St. Marys, I am still not 100%. That being said, I did open the store today on a slightly shortened schedule and was able to ease back in slowly. All portraits are a go for tomorrow and Monday, baby passports booked for Monday are also looking likely to move forward. Next week I am very much looking forward to the being chosen as a venue for the amazing St. Marys Creative Retreat. A year one multi-day, multi-venue initiative that highlights our amazing community, its arts and creative heart. Absolutely all the good feels for this one.

Short story, although many believe I am not geared to take it slow, I am this time. Listening to my body and if I need to adjust things if I feel I need to, I will, but hopefully things will stay on a positive trajectory.
