Blessed because my day at work is somebody else’s best day of their life 🤍💍

Jumping on this trend a little differently and sharing a few sneak peeks from Drew & Liam’s absolutely beautiful June wedding. I’ve been deep into editing their gallery this week, and every image has reminded me just how lucky I am to do what I do!

Being trusted to document one of the biggest, happiest days in someone’s life is something I’ll never take for granted. From the quiet moments to the biggest celebrations, it’s an honour to preserve these memories for my couples to look back on for years to come.

What a whirlwind of a grad season it’s been! 🎓🤍

When I tell you these photos were worth the wait, I’m not kidding… We have been trying to schedule this engagement session since the winter and had originally planned on a cute little skating/hot chocolate date in Wortley Village! After the craziest winter we’ve had in a very long time, and multiple reschedulings due to -30 degree weather, I think it was meant to be that this session turned out the way it did. It was genuinely such an honour to capture these photos for these beautiful ladies and to be a little part of their love story! So excited to share more 💛

You blink… and suddenly you realize you never booked the summer photos you swore you’d get this year! ☀️🌊

Beach days like this are just around the corner, and it honestly feels underrated that we have two gorgeous beach towns within an hour of London, Ontario to photograph at. I sometimes take that for granted… but not this summer!!

I’m officially planning summer mini session days and I am SO excited:

Highland cow minis - a few Saturdays in May & June 🐮

Beach minis - Port Stanley & Grand Bend - Sundays in May & June 🏖️

If you’re on my Highland cow waitlist, I’ll be reaching out in the next day or two for pre-booking.

Beach minis will be taking place Sunday evenings in late May and June. These are also a great option because I’m limiting the number of full family sessions this year, and these short 15–20 minute blocks are honestly more than enough time to capture beautiful, relaxed photos with your little ones! 📸

Bridal portraits… and why you shouldn’t skip them! 🤍

There’s something so special about slowing down before the wedding day chaos. Last week in the studio with Jenny, we used her bridal hair & makeup trial as the perfect chance to soak it all in - the dress, the excitement, and the beauty of stepping into a brand new chapter!

No timelines. No pressure. Just space to feel present and celebrate this moment in your life.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a few bridal portraits and bridal bo***irs lately, and they’re quickly becoming one of my favourite sessions. Being able to show someone how beautiful they are, right as they’re entering such a meaningful season, is exactly why I love what I do.

Six years ago… I almost didn’t post these.
Now they remind me why I never gave up. ✨

A lot can change in six years — and making this reel honestly stopped me in my tracks. Looking back at my early 2020 photos (shoutout to the real ones who trusted me from day one 🤍), I can see not only how much my photography has grown, but how much I’ve grown too.

Even in the last year, the difference feels huge. And the funny thing? I still look at photos I love — photos YOU loved — and notice things I’d do differently today. That’s the beauty of being creative. If we stop learning, we stop growing… and I never want my work to feel stuck.

To the photographers and students following along: keep getting out there. Keep shooting. Keep pushing yourself — even when it feels uncomfortable or imperfect. The photos you take today are building the foundation for the photographer you’ll become. You truly never know where you’ll be in six years… and that’s the exciting part. 📸✨

This summer is going to be another chapter of growth — more golden light, more real moments, more storytelling. If you want to be part of that journey and maybe even step in front of my camera… I’d love to have you along. ☀️
