Moving made easier with a , so we can get back to trails and bike rides sooner | AND

What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought for your vehicle? We might’ve taken it a bit far and bought ours a driveway (and a garage). The dogs scored a yard and faster trail access too, so safe to say the whole pack is pretty happy with this move.

After two weeks of a slow move from our apartment to our new home, the Tacoma made everything quicker than we expected — keeping the dogs and all our belongings safe along the way.

New year, new adventures, same .

We’re looking forward to another year of exploring with the truck — whether that means revisiting familiar roads, tackling new trails, or discovering more of our beautiful province (and beyond). We’re grateful for a reliable truck that can handle any adventure and get us where we need to go safely.

Now that Remus is older, I can’t wait to take him our favourite places. He still has a lot to learn when it comes to being a mountain dog, but he’ll have Quest and his pack of bird dogs to show him the way.

2026 is the year of more trails, more views, and more time spent with dogs (and the truck).

[ad] this is what summer is all about. mountains, alpine meadows, happy dogs, and our . the only ride that keeps up with our adventures.

we’ve slowly been bringing Remus to our favourite trails, and thankfully, he’s started settling really well in his crate in the back of the truck. he used to have terrible car anxiety when we first brought him home, but the more time he spends in the Tacoma, the more comfortable he gets. by next summer, when he’s fully grown into that lanky body of his, he’ll be joining us on even longer drives, heading to new and beautiful places.

It’s been four years of adventures in Squamish.

I always knew I would call Squamish home one day, and spent years dreaming of a life in the mountains. Four years ago, after countless weekends driving up and down the Sea to Sky highway, we finally made the move to be closer to the trails that made us fall in love with this place.

At first, I thought we moved to Squamish to give Sully and Quest a better life. But, honestly, I think we moved here to give the Tacoma a better life, too.

One of my favourite parts about living here is that every day can be a new adventure. With endless trails and backcountry roads to explore, our Tacoma has been the perfect companion to getting us (and the dogs) where we need to go.

some snaps from last month’s pack walk with 👏🏻 so many amazing pups — and the biggest turn out yet! while the weather was perfect for the walk, it wasn’t ideal for photos (shooting in bright sunlight is no fun), but i’m still so happy with how the photos turned out 🥹 i really love photographing these walks and capturing the bonds between the dogs and their owners. it is so special watching these teams work together 🤍

there is another community pack walk coming up Sunday November 26th @ 12:00pm! i’ll be attending with Crab and my camera during work break, so i’ll have to run as soon as the walk ends, but i hope to see you there!

also a soft launch of my other (new) IG account — .media — which will be dedicated to sharing photos from shoots, content creation, and freelance work. if you’re interested in seeing that, follow me over there 🫶🏻

swipe → for the full image 🐻 another grizzly photo from our Bella Coola trip, taken at the Belarko Wildlife Viewing Platform. we already can’t wait to make another trip out here, and are looking into other places to do some wildlife photography 👀

i would love to add the 200-600 lens we rented to our bag permanently, so i am on the hunt for a used one at a reasonable price. we were able to rent out the lens for the week at a super reasonable price, but it’d be nice to have this beast full-time.

sibling love 🐻

not sure if these two were brothers, or sisters, or brother/sister. our river guide explained that you can tell a bear’s gender two ways:

1 - the way they p*e (yes, he’s seen them p*e before 😂). females will urinate behind their back legs, whereas a male will urinate in front of their back legs.

2 - if the bear has cubs or not, as cubs will stay with their mothers until they are 2.5 years old.

males will also be bigger than females (when full grown).

we did not see either of these cubs p*e, so i cannot confirm their genders 🤣 but they were adorable, and put on a show for us as they played in the water, while their mother was searching for more salmon to munch on. we sat quietly in the boats and watched this family for awhile, until they eventually slipped into the forest and disappeared.
