British Columbia- June 2026: first week back on the road! We took the ferry to the Sunshine Coast, and then a couple of more ferries to reach Vancouver Island. So far got some mountain biking on the Sunshine Coast, some surfing in Tofino, and then we made our way to the north end of the island.

France - April 2026: Alexia’s solo trip… part 4: from Sri Lanka, I hoped on a place to Abu Dhabi where I had a long layover (but everything was business as usual despite the war), and onto a red eye flight to Paris. Spent a week visiting family & friends, and ate some cheese! Then I got back on a plane to complete my full lap around the planet: Vancouver > Hong Kong > Colombo > Abu Dhabi > Paris > Calgary > Vancouver

Sri Lanka - April 2026: Alexia’s solo trip … part 3: pics from exploring Fort Galle, which was built by the Portuguese in 1588 and later fortified by the Dutch from 1649 onward and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s very quaint, and is great to explore on foot… or Tuk Tuk.
