17 years ago today, I got my very first DSLR camera. It's hard to believe how fast the time has gone.

My photography journey started as a photographer's assistant for a friend who was taking the photography program at Fanshawe College. Instead of being paid in cash, I was given my very first Canon camera, and that gift changed the course of my life.

Thousands of photos, countless sunrises, wildlife encounters, lessons learned, and memories captured later, I'm still just as passionate about photography as I was on day one. ❤️📷

Here's to 17 years behind the lens, and many more to come.
