One year ago today, I married my best friend. ❤️

It’s hard to believe an entire year has already passed since we stood together and promised forever. This past year has brought so many memories, laughs, adventures, and moments that have reminded me just how grateful I am to have you beside me through it all.

I would choose you all over again. ❤️ Happy first anniversary, Derek. Here’s to the life we’ve built, everything still ahead of us, and many more years of doing life together. I love you.

It’s hard to believe an entire year has already passed since we stood together and promised forever. This past year has brought so many memories, laughs, adventures, and moments that have reminded me just how grateful I am to have you beside me through it all.

🎥 This kid has an eye for it.

My son James put together this wicked video from my western shoot with Cherie & Taz, and I absolutely love seeing how he brings a completely different perspective to the creative process.

While I’m behind the camera capturing the stills, James is capturing the movement, atmosphere and all those little in-between moments that make a shoot come alive. Equipped with his Sony camera, gimbal and drone, he’s been diving deeper into videography and building his own style with every project.

He’s now looking to take on more video work — couples, weddings, branding, western/lifestyle shoots, promotional content and creative projects.

The speeches that brought tears, the first dances, the laughter, the little details that made the room theirs… and eventually, a dance floor full of the people they love most.

Wedding receptions are where the day seems to exhale. The formalities fade, the music gets louder, and everyone settles into simply celebrating two people they love.

A little western, a little editorial, and just the right amount of drama.
From black lace to denim, we played with two completely different looks as the sun went down — and these horses understood the assignment too.

There’s something about mixing western roots with a touch of high fashion that I absolutely love. Moody light, beautiful horses, gorgeous details and that Alberta sky… this session was everything. ✨
