E & I on film 🤍

The outdoorsy, earthy, grainy elopement photos of my dreams.

I’m so happy I got an opportunity to shoot both digital and film for E & I’s elopement day in Algonquin Park. Film adds a layer of nostalgia that’s truly difficult to replicate in digital format, and I just can’t get enough of it.

Whether you’re eloping, planning a family photo session, or just want to have some portraits done, 35mm film is always an option to add on (and is included in most wedding and elopement packages).

It started as a lodge, then became his family’s cottage. Then it’s where he proposed.

A sunset session frolicking in a field with your dog? Yes please.

This little fam wanted some photos with their two year old pup, and man did we have fun playing around on the farm! It was a beautiful fall evening that even came with some unexpected rain, which honestly made the photos even more whimsy and romantic looking (in my opinion anyways 😋).

Let this be your little reminder that photos don’t need to be just for special occasions; they can simply be about documenting quality time with your loved ones in your here and now 🤍

Fall leaves and bikes were the perfect combo for the cutest session 🤍

I love love love adding an activity to sessions; not only does it create opportunities for having some fun, it helps create such genuine laughs and memories.

Plus, doing an activity together gives you a chance to forget about the camera and just focus on each other. You’ll end up with a gallery full of fun, unique images that truly reflect you.

Activities work well for all kinds of sessions, families too! Imagine letting your kids run free playing games or riding their bikes around, just having fun?

I’m still daydreaming about this perfect sunset session at Derrynane beach in July.

I had so much fun with this couple and they were up for trying anything I suggested. Their trust in the process resulted in some of my favourite images from this summer 🤍
