Mothers… we carry them in our bellies, we give birth to them, we nurture them, and we love them with a love that is hard to put into words. ❤️
Motherhood is a journey of love, learning, growing, and, perhaps hardest of all, letting go.
As my mother always says, “Once a mother, always a mother.”
I didn’t always understand what she meant by that. I do now.
No matter how old our children become, a part of us will always see them as the little ones we held close, protected, guided, and loved.
Motherhood changes us. It stretches our hearts, teaches us lessons we never knew we needed to learn, and reminds us that love sometimes means giving our children the space to find their own way.
Once a mother, always a mother. ❤️
