Growth sometimes feels irritating. Like wanting something to happen NOW, but you have to wait. Because it takes time. I suppose it's like being pregnant. No one but you knows at the beginning. Sure those closest to you know what you're going through but you have nothing to "show" for it.

Over time more people can see what you're growing and eventually you don't even have to announce your news to anyone. You just are.

I've been feeling that growth lately with my work. What I want my business to look like and more importantly, the work I create/show. How I show up in my online spaces. And maybe I'm overthinking (ok, I am) but I think it's important to think about these things when what I do is so tied to who I am.

With that being said - here is a creative maternity session I did recently. I'm in love with it. This is what makes me feel alive, like I'm doing the right thing and the result has been a happier me and wanting to share it all.
