Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to travel to PEI for the very first time with Canada Skateboard 🇨🇦 for a Women’s LeadershipRetreat surrounded by some amazing inspiring humans.

During this time we got to spend time at the brand new Wise Indoor Skateboarding Park, connect with community, skateboarding, shared stories, and created memories that I will treasure forever.

After spending so many years documenting skateboarding and being part of this community, I didn’t realize how much I needed a weekend like this. A reminder of why I started, why I keep showing up, and how powerful it is to have spaces where people feel supported, welcomed, and free to be themselves.

Huge thank you to Canada Skateboard 🇨🇦, laura and Denise Biziaev for making this possible and bringing such an incredible group together. And of course Prince Edward Island and Town City for the lovely hospitality Gracias !
