Battleford’s Backyard Black Bears

Last Monday I was photographing rainbows landing on North Battleford’s skyline, when I spotted a black shape up in a tree. It was on a small island in the river. So I took a closer look and found 3 black bears, a mother and 2 cubs!

At the end you’ll see if a cub can climb as good as its mom.

Be careful out there in the river valley.
