A thought from behind the camera and computer editing...

One of the things I've come to realize over the years is that photography is a lot more personal than many people realize. Every image represents a series of choices: where to stand, what angle to use, which lens to use, what to include, what to leave out, how to use light, colour, contrast, and composition to tell a story. Then there's the hours of editing to create my 'look'.

While I photograph musicians, events, and people, what you're really seeing in every image is my interpretation of that moment. It's my way of seeing the world.

I love when people share my photographs and connect with them. That's one of the greatest compliments a photographer can receive. If you do share them, I'd appreciate keeping the images intact and including a photo credit when possible, especially if they're cropped or used outside their original post.

Thank you to everyone who supports Imagine It Live Photography. The fact that so many people enjoy these moments enough to share them is something I'm truly grateful for.
