LOST IN LOFOTEN // Sent the drone up to the clouds a few years back on one of the most incredible adventures I’ve had with some of the best company. Winnie The Pooh summed it up perfectly, “I am not lost, for I know where I am. But however, where I am may be lost.”

Norway will always have a piece of my heart for no more than the reason that here is what feels like home. Can’t wait to get back. Enjoy from one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Skål! 🍻

BEHIND THE LENS
I spent a day learning a new skill, how to drive manual. There’s something about a V8 and a 6-speed manual gearbox on a rainy day, so I took advantage of the weather to shoot the details. I wanted to capture the parts you feel more than see, just as you would behind the wheel.

There’s something about seeing the coastline from above where the coastline ends and the sandbars begin. From deep blue ocean hues to boats scattered across the bay and a beach day with my family. Eye spy the sunken ship, poor boat.

EVERETT // Burleigh beach days and some special moments from Australia, but this time with my littlest homie. This was a trip I’ll remember forever and one I hope Ev does too. There’s something really profound about watching him grow up, nothing quite like it. Really enjoying seeing my buds have all this fun, it’s a great gig getting to be his dad.

A family trip I'll never forget. Every shot was captured in those in between moments spent with family. Some of the best are when you least expect it. That’s Mt. Tinbeerwah in the distance and what a view of the town it was. Stay tuned for more.

LIFE UPDATE
You haven't seen as much of me lately, I know. Life has its way but know that I'm okay, better than ever in fact. I haven't lost the zest for taking photos though so don't worry, I'm always here, puttering around. I've actually been building - building a new website, new presets, and even a digital workspace to house everything.

Photography has brought me to places around the world I always dreamed of going and for that, I'm eternally grateful. Places I never imagined I would get to see for my own and to think, I've only scratched the surface. I'm just getting started. Australia was one of those places I've dreamed of going since I was little. It's really special to have the best reason to go and visit again, this trip had no shortage of special moments.

Photography has brought me closer to new friends too! I've met and grown close to some incredibly talented and inspiring people in the last while. Thank you for being there and sharing with me, I love hearing your stories!

So yeah, I've slowed down a bit ... unintentionally though, but maybe because of a culmination of things? I've been spending time with my son, more time offline with friends, and I've found work I really enjoy too ... to name a few. I'm just living.

Part of that was wanting to be present more offline too, to search for what inspires me again online. I wanted to challenge myself to find imagery that looks and feels like it was unfluenced, authentic moments and memories. This set ironically is a reminder of my family and how much I already miss getting to all be together again for the first time in what feels like ages. I was chasing a feeling with these, they're for me.

But also for you! You might see something different than I but I hope that they make you feel something too. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and come say hi! 🤘🏼
