I’m still here 😅

The past few weeks have been so busy. I’ve been deep in my training for Pilates, navigating a new(ish) role part time and working through galleries.

Im supporting a few businesses with their social media which naturally lead to me posting less on mine (oops).

But that’s the thing about life, motherhood and running a business. It’s juggling 8 glass balls and knowing which one can be dropped without it shattering.

But I’m back 🤣

- something that has the baby’s name on it: a sweater, a sign, a card from the hospital

- an outfit change, allows for more photos that can create a different feel

A theme I’ve talked about a lot over the last 5 years is transitions.
Recently, I resigned from my full-time employment after almost 10 years with the same company. Why? Because for a long time, it no longer aligned with the life I wanted to build — especially when it came to balance, presence, and the way I want to show up for my babies.
Stepping into something new is scary. There are so many what ifs, fears, and worries about things not working out. But I also kept thinking… what if I stayed? What if I missed more moments? What if I kept putting parts of myself and my family on hold?
I think one of the biggest barriers in transitions is doubting ourselves — doubting what we want, what we’re capable of, and whether we can create something new while still being successful. But success looks different to me now. It’s no longer about titles, the size of the team I lead, or even the money.
Success to me is being able to support my family while also being present. It’s school pick-ups, holidays together, being there on the hard days, chasing my dreams, and still contributing financially in a way that feels aligned.
Transitions are uncomfortable, but I’m learning that sometimes the scariest decisions lead us closer to the life we’ve been asking for all along.

Maternity mamas

The best time to schedule your maternity photos? Typically 30-36 weeks is the sweet spot. Why? The bump will be bump in’ and you will still feel a bit more mobility at this point. I TRULY believe documenting any stage of pregnancy is beautiful so this is for sure a guideline ❤️
