Introducing the latest photography duo, The Golden Girls.
and Janae Guthro of join us on site this year as The Golden Girls, a playful nod to Andre Pettipas’ Stay Gold motto and the golden hour magic that defines Giantstock’s shoreline.
Melinda and Janae focus on playful and candid snapshots that capture the essence of each person and the spirit of the weekend. Their combined style blends lifestyle photography, live event coverage, outdoor sessions, and natural storytelling that reflects the people and moments that make Giantstock special.
Their work across Nova Scotia includes family sessions, weddings, artist portraits, community events, and outdoor adventure shoots. For Giantstock IV, they’ll be moving throughout the grounds to document the weekend — from beach hangs and campsite downtime to late-night fires, wrestling chaos, and the long goodbye to summer that defines the festival experience.

The Golden Girls will also be offering 20-minute mini sessions for $75 throughout Giantstock for festival-goers who want to capture a little piece of the weekend for themselves. Come as a couple, bring your best friend, your festival crew, or just yourself and let Giantstock’s shoreline and end-of-summer glow do the rest.
Mini sessions are available by sign-up, with limited spots throughout the weekend.
