I realized recently that the majority of my feed is basically just sneak peeks… and honestly, it makes sense because THIS CAMERA ROLL IS FULL 😂📸

Between content videos, socials, 7 years of photography and, you know… ✨life✨, there are approximately 847,392 photos fighting for their lives in here.

But also could you imagine me trying to pick 10 photos from a full wedding gallery of 1,000+ images?! I can barely decide what I want for lunch. 😅 (literally still deciding)

So here’s my attempt at sharing a wedding day from start to finish…

And yes, they’re still technically sneak peeks because apparently commitment is hard when every photo deserves a spot. 😂

From the getting ready chaos → the quiet little moments → the “holy s**t we’re married” energy → straight into the dance floor madness. 🥂

It’s giving cheers to forever 🥂✨

The kind of wedding day that feels equal parts timeless + a really, really good time. The first dance of my dreams, and the florals I can’t even!!

From getting ready in the charm of the Rosemount Inn to celebrating at the Isabel Bader this one had all the things I love: beautiful details, real moments, a little editorial magic, and a whole lot of champagne. 🍾

Consider this your sign to add the champagne tower. Always. (Sorry Wedding Coordinator 😅)

I keep replaying it in my head…

“WE ARE ALL HAVING A GOOD TIME!” 🗣️🪩🥂

And honestly, that’s the entire vibe.

Heels are off. Ties are questionable. Drinks are in the air. Someone’s aunt is absolutely owning the dance floor. The DJ knows exactly what they’re doing and I’m somewhere in the middle of it all with my camera like YESSSSS. 😂🔥

And you’ll FOR SURE find me standing on a chair at some point — camera in hand, probably doing the trending Lush Life dance while simultaneously trying to get the shot. 😂💃🏼📸

This is the part of the wedding day where absolutely no one cares what they look like anymore — they’re just in it.

Blurry photos. Big laughs. Questionable dance moves. Champagne flying. Your favourite people packed onto one dance floor.

Wedding hot take:

You should probably get to ATTEND the wedding you spent thousands of dollars planning. 😂

Wild concept, I know.

These two finished all their photos before the ceremony, said I DO, grabbed some snacks + drinks and disappeared together for 15 minutes.

No photos.

No guests.

No “okay now stand over here.”

Just two newlyweds having a little snack and a drink together because THEY JUST GOT MARRIED.

Then they came back and actually enjoyed cocktail hour.

Honestly? Elite behaviour.

Eat your appetizers. Drink your cocktails. Hug your friends. Sneak away with your new spouse. Be late to something because you’re having too much fun.

I promise I’ll still get ALL the photos.

I’ve never wanted my work to fit into just one little box.

If I had to define my artistic style, it’s classic and timeless with a little sprinkle of editorial magic. ✨

It’s true-to-life skin tones and colours that actually look like your day. It’s clean, beautiful images that I want you to still love 30 years from now.

But it’s also the blurry magic. The movement. The perfectly imperfect frames that somehow make you feel exactly what was happening.

It’s angles. Allllll the angles. The wide shot that tells the whole story, the tiny details you didn’t even notice, and the unexpected perspective that turns a moment into art.

It’s knowing when to give you a little direction so you feel freaking incredible and knowing when to disappear into the background and let life happen.

Because I’m always watching for the emotion.

Your grandma wiping away a tear. Your best friend absolutely losing it on the dance floor. The way your person looks at you when you’re not paying attention. The chaos, the quiet, the belly laughs, the nerves, the hands reaching for each other.

That’s why I don’t think my style belongs to one type of wedding.

Big weddings. Backyard weddings. City Hall. Elopements. Black tie. Barefoot in a field. Loud families. Quiet celebrations. Traditions or throwing the entire rulebook out the window.

My style fits your day because my style is about documenting what your day actually felt like while making it look damn beautiful.

And most importantly?

I want you to look at your photos and think:

Damn. I look like me. I feel like me. And I felt SO good that day. 🤍

“You want HOW MUCH to take photos?!”

Yep. And I get it.

Because right now, they’re just photos.

Until you move away and miss your sister…
and there she is, in a frame sitting on your hutch.

Until your grandma isn’t here anymore…
and you find that old photo of the two of you together and suddenly you can remember exactly what it felt like to be beside her.

Until you’d give anything for one more afternoon with your mom…
so you pull out an old family album and, for a few minutes, it almost feels like she’s sitting there with you.

Until your babies aren’t babies anymore.

Until the dog who was always at your feet isn’t there.

Until the house you grew up in belongs to someone else.

Until the people you love change, grow, move away, get older… or leave us entirely.

And suddenly, they’re not just photos.

They’re proof.

Proof that you were here.
That they were here.
That you loved each other.
That this little ordinary life you were living was actually the good stuff.

Photography can feel expensive when you’re paying for it today.

But I’ve never heard someone look at a photograph of someone they desperately miss and say,

“I wish we hadn’t taken that.”

Take the photos. 🤍

The messy ones. The yearly family ones. The grandparents. The siblings. The dogs. The ordinary Tuesday-night-in-the-backyard ones.

Because someday, their value might have absolutely nothing to do with what you paid for them. I promise to value each and every moment I get to capture as if I get to see them 10 years later 🤍

Because sometimes the most beautiful weddings are the ones that leave room to simply be together.
