THE BODY YOU HAVE.
F**k perfect.
I'm tired of women waiting.
Waiting until they lose the weight.
Waiting until their stomach is flatter.
Waiting until their b***s look different.
Waiting until they're less wrinkled.
Waiting until they feel confident.
Waiting until they look like the version of themselves they've decided is finally acceptable.
Meanwhile, this is the body you have.
The one getting you through your days.
The one that's carried babies, survived heartbreak, had good s*x, bad s*x, too much wine, not enough sleep and approximately 7,000 loads of laundry.
It's changed.
Of course it has.
Bodies are supposed to change.
And I'm not here to convince you that you need to love every inch of yours. Honestly? I don't even love every inch of mine.
I'm more interested in something else.
What if you stopped making happiness with your body a prerequisite for living your life?
What if you could just... be in it?
Wear the dress.
Take the photo.
Go swimming.
Have the s*x.
Take up the space.
Do the thing.
Let yourself be seen.
The body you have is not a waiting room.
It's your life.
So this month, we're going to talk about it.
The uncomfortable stuff.
The funny stuff.
The s**t we're all thinking but don't always say out loud.
And we're officially retiring perfect.
F**k perfect.
Let's live.
