Some first images from an ongoing collaboration with London’s .

Bridge House is a new multi-family housing project set along the Hertford Union Canal in Hackney Wick, on the site of a former waste management plant. Emerging as part of the 2012 Olympic Games legacy, the development brings together 40 dual-aspect apartments—each with its own balcony—and access to a shared roof garden.

At ground level, a gallery, workshops, and café open onto a sequence of public spaces that connect the building to the canal.

Bridge House est un nouveau projet de logements collectifs situé le long du canal Hertford Union à Hackney Wick, sur le site d’une ancienne usine de traitement des déchets. Issu de l’héritage des Jeux olympiques de 2012, ce complexe comprend 40 appartements traversants, chacun doté d’un balcon et d’un accès à un jardin partagé sur le toit.

Au rez-de-chaussée, une galerie, des ateliers et un café s’ouvrent sur une succession d’espaces publics reliant le bâtiment aux berges du canal.

Conçu par avec & le centre est composé dune collection d’espaces culturel public situé à l’ouest du centre-ville, intégré sur 3 étages au pied de deux tours résidentielles privées. Il comprend une bibliothèque, une galerie, un studio de musique et une salle de spectacle. On y trouve également un café avec une grande cuisine équipée pour des cours de cuisine.

Bozikovic écrit: le centre évoque l’idée d’un « condenseur social » — un lieu pour rassembler les gens en un seul endroit où de bonnes choses se produiront.
Sanaaq est un “triomphe du design” , le bâtiment public “le plus beau et le plus confortable à avoir récemment ouvert ses portes au Canada” •

The Centre Sanaaq in Montreal has been reviewed this week in the Globe & Mail newspaper by its architecture critic •

Designed by in collaboration with & , the centre comprises a collection of public cultural spaces located west of downtown, integrated across 3 floors at the base of two private residential towers. It includes a library, a gallery, a music studio, and a performance hall. There’s also a café with a large, fully equipped kitchen for cooking classes.

Bozikovic writes that the centre evokes the idea of ​​a “social condenser”—a place to bring people together in one location where good things will happen. Centre Sanaaq, he goes on , is a “triumph of design,” the “most beautiful and comfortable public building to have recently opened in Canada.”
