Meet Maria 💻

Hi! I’m the one answering your messages, booking your sessions, editing your photos, and probably sending you way too many smiley faces. 😄

I was an early childhood educator for 10 years, then took time off to stay home and raise my kids. When they started school, I knew it was time to figure out my next step, and that’s when Mike and I decided to invest in Willovia Photo together.

Mike trained me to edit photos, and now I manage our social media, book sessions, find new clients, and help edit every gallery we deliver.

My family is my everything, and like most moms, everything I do is for them!

Meet Mike 📷
The guy behind the lens and the calm voice saying “just one more shot.”

Before Willovia Photo, Mike ran MJK Photography for 18 years before we decided to rebrand and start this new chapter as a family business.

When he’s not photographing sessions, Mike is a hands-on dad who volunteers at the kids’ school, juggling a full-time job in marketing, and somehow still making time for photography.
Basically… he runs on passion, coffee, and very little sleep.

And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Meet Willovia Photo 📸

We’re Willovia Photo, a small, family-run photography team built on big dreams (and a lot of coffee breaks).

Mike is the photographer behind the camera, Maria is the editor behind the screen, and our kids Olivia and William are… our favorite bosses. They don’t pay us, but they definitely keep us accountable. 😄

The name Willovia came from combining our kids’ names, because this business is something we’re building with them and for them. They already have big ideas and future plans for Willovia Photo… we’re just trying to keep up!

We’re so happy you’re here and can’t wait to grow this journey with you. 💛
