I think every woman, at some point in her life, gets to reintroduce herself to herself. Not because the woman she was wasn’t enough, but because we are allowed to outgrow our old definitions. Photography became my way of doing that. I rebranded myself…created a new language for who I was becoming. It feels like scattered pieces of me slowly finding their way back to one another…

But the greatest gift that photography gave me was not this nor the photographs.
It was the people I met because I picked up a camera.
The friendships born from a shared way of seeing…feeling…and the souls I might have walked past in another version of my life.

Photography taught me that sometimes what makes us whole again isn’t finding the missing pieces of ourselves …but it’s discovering that some of them were waiting in other people all along.

Happy Photography Day to the art that gave me a way to see, a way to heal, and some extraordinary people to know and walk beside.
