Ten years ago, in a little clearing tucked away amongst the trees, two people promised to love one another. 🌿✨️
And ten years later, they returned to that very same spot to make those promises all over again.
But this time, those words carried a little more weight. Because ten years of love isn't just butterflies, stolen kisses, and happily ever afters. It's growing, changing, weathering storms, laughing until your belly hurts, and choosing each other even on the days when life isn't particularly magical.
And perhaps that's the most beautiful kind of love there is.
Not the kind that stays exactly as it was in the beginning, but the kind that grows deeper roots with every passing season. The kind that says, I've seen all the versions of you, and I'd still choose you in every lifetime.
Watching these two exchange handwritten vows, slip rings onto each others fingers and fall right back into each others arms in the very place their story began was something I won't soon forget.
There was laughter. There were tears. There were those quiet little looks that somehow say more than a thousand words ever could.
And there was me, behind the camera, absolutely fighting for my life trying to see through my viewfinder with eyeballs FULL of tears. 🥹😆
Professional photographer? Yes.
Emotionally stable wedding guest with a camera? Apparently not.
What an extraordinary privilege it is to be invited into moments like these.
Ten years down, a lifetime of adventures still to come.
Here's to love that doesn't just last, but grows. To finding magic in the ordinary. And to choosing your person, over and over and over again. 🤍✨️
