One of my favourite parts of Ashley and Evan’s wedding day was watching them choose to slow things down and have a private first look and share their vows together before the ceremony.

There’s something so beautiful about having a little moment that belongs only to the two of you — away from the excitement, the guests and everything happening around you.

It gave them a chance to really look at each other, hold each other close, share their words and just be together before the day swept them away. 🤍

Choosing a private first look and vows can add such a personal and meaningful touch to your wedding day.

Lavender, elegance and a whole lot of anticipation. Ashley’s wedding at Hopcott Farms in Pitt Meadows was rustic meets elegant, with the most beautiful details woven throughout the day.

Getting ready is one of my favourite parts to photograph — the excitement, the laughter, the girls, the dress, the final touches and all the beautiful chaos before walking down the aisle. ✨

And those bridal portraits just before the ceremony? Absolutely some of my favourites. Capturing Ashley feeling beautiful, excited and ready to say “I do.” 💜
