When booking a brand session it is really helpful and important to communicate with your photographer before the session so you can both show up prepared. And these guys were more than prepared!

I personally felt comfortable because they sent me a branding document before the shoot with brand colours, style and mood of images they needed, and what those images will be used for.

Remember, a brand session is a COLLABORATION.

Your photographer will have ideas and suggestions for you, and help you out as much as you need, but these photos are for you to attract business and income so don't be afraid to speak up and tell your photographer what you want, need and feel!

Just a little behind the scenes of my life as Photographer, business owner, part time employee, Mom of 4.

Amazing clients - 2 brands, about 30 headshots this month.

How I grew my business this month in the final slides - lots more reels to attract new followers. But not just random followers - people who are my target market, who like to interact, and local to me. Quality not quantity!

How I did that - more reels and posts that feature ME. Just quick b roll clips, nothing fancy, in the background with a message over top of the video. Simple.

STOP HIDING, START SHOWING UP! I'm following my own advice.

"You're too expensive"

Okay? What does that mean anyway?

It's Not about you guys!

I speak about photographers in this example but this applies to all business owners who sell a product or service.

And it can be tiring hearing over and over. You will want to lower your prices or give discounts but DONT.

You are worth it. They just don't value what you're offering .

And that's okay. You cannot be everyone's cup of tea. Or coffee. Or soda. Or beer.

♥️ Keep going. Believe in yourself.

And remember that being too expensive is way better than being too cheap. 😉
