Then she walked into a room where nobody asked her to shrink.
Nobody told her to suck it in. Nobody pointed out what needed fixing. Nobody made her earn the right to feel beautiful.

Instead, she was hyped up, guided, celebrated—and reminded that the woman she thought she had lost was still right there.

Underneath the mom.
The wife.
The employee.
The caretaker.
