✨ The Magic of Watching a Family Grow ✨

There are some families who come into your photography studio as clients… and somewhere along the way, they become so much more than that. ❤️

Sara and her wonderful family are one of those families for me. I’ve had the absolute privilege of photographing them and getting to know them over the years, and watching her two amazing boys grow has been such a beautiful part of my journey as a photographer.

Every session gives me a little glimpse into the magic that happens within their family — the laughter, the love, the connection, the personalities, the little moments that make them them. And every time I see them again, I’m reminded just how quickly these years go by.

Getting to document those changes and preserve those memories for a family is something I will never take for granted. I get to watch little boys grow, families change, bonds become stronger, and memories become photographs that they can hold onto forever. 📸❤️

This is why I love what I do.

It’s not just about taking beautiful pictures. It’s about relationships. It’s about trust. It’s about being invited back year after year and having the incredible honour of watching a family grow right in front of my camera.

There is something so incredibly magical about the love between a mama and her little boy. 💙

It’s a love that is fierce, unconditional, and so strong that nothing in this world can ever truly break it. Watching Kristie and her sweet little boy together and capturing those little moments of love, laughter, cuddles, and connection was absolutely beautiful. ✨

And honestly, it reminded me so much of my own little boy and me so many years ago. Those days feel like they were just yesterday… and somehow, they pass in the blink of an eye.

That’s why I love what I do. I get to freeze these moments in time—the little hands, the cuddles, the smiles, and the incredible bond between a mother and her son. Because one day, these little boys grow up, but the love between a mama and her son never does. 🤍
