Have you found the Deeper Well?

You say I don’t like myself…. I disagree. I think you love yourself wholeheartedly you don’t like the version of yourself that had to put in a box to survive- to make others comfortable. Perhaps it’s time to go deep and find the real you again.

The deeper well session is a creative opportunity to dive deep into yourself and have it documented to recall the feelings of unraveling.

Dealing with burnout during wedding days is huge, my feelings are never hurt if you want to cut portrait time short to go relax and recharge. Lately I’m suggesting less solid portrait times and more let me steal you away for ten minutes in this amazing spot of light I found. Having beautiful keepsakes is important but so is actually enjoying the day I prioritize both.

I’ve been doing self portraits for so long and in this session it was especially fun to see all the different versions of myself that decided to make an appearance. It reminded me how grateful I am for everyone that steps in front of the camera and shows me their heart it’s such a beautiful thing that carry through each and every session I do.

I spent a lot of formative years wishing I could be anything but me and I’ve spent the last couple years making peace with all the gifts that are me and leaning into them. I won’t lie wearing my heart on my sleeve and leading with my depths has pushed a lot of people away from me professionally and personally but it’s also brought the best people into my life.

People like . This gallery holds so much emotion for me every time looking at them I’m pulled back into the space we shared. The one full of pain and darkness but also tenderness, surrender, and primal passion that knocked the wind right out of me. Getting to truly see someone like this is a gift that I’m still figuring out how to show gratitude for.

There’s been times that I’ve felt uncomfortable about sharing so much of personal thoughts and feelings about things and just my life in general on this platform but it’s undeniably who I am, and lately I’ve realized that so many clients come to me primed to show me their own depths because they have been seeing mine for years, a slow beautiful burn. I hope I never lose the passion to own my vulnerability.
