🍂 Okay, I know it’s still summer… BUT…

Are we the only ones who are already thinking about fall family photos?! 😍

Because lately I’ve been thinking a LOT about how quickly life moves.

My own daughter starts university in September, and honestly… I don’t know how we got here so fast. It feels like I blinked and suddenly the little moments I thought I had so much more time for are becoming memories.

And that’s exactly why I love family photos. ❤️

The everyday chaos. The growing kids. The little personalities. The way your family looks right now - because “right now” doesn’t stay for very long.

So I’m starting to plan my limited fall family session dates and locations, and I want to know:

📸 PSA: Please stop screenshotting your photos!

I know… it seems easier to just screenshot your favourite image from your gallery.

But here’s the thing…

That screenshot might look fine on your phone, but if you ever want to print it, it’s not going to be good. 😬

You invested in professional photos, and I deliver beautiful, high-resolution images for a reason. A screenshot is just a compressed copy, not the original.

Think of it like this:

✨ Your web-sized images are perfect for Facebook, Instagram, texting family, and keeping on your phone.

✨ Your high-resolution images are your forever files. Those are the ones you want for wall art, albums, gifts, and prints that will still look amazing years from now.

Family photo season is here!

Believe it or not, we’re already heading into the busiest time of the year for family photos!

I’m already booking into the end of July and August, and once we hit August, my calendar fills up FAST right through the end of October.

If you’ve been thinking, “We really need to get family photos this year,” this is your sign to book them now. Whether you’re hoping for a warm summer evening, back-to-school photos, or those gorgeous fall colours, it’s never too early to grab your spot.

Every year I get messages in September from families hoping for an October session, and I hate having to say I’m already booked.

The good news? You don’t have to have everything figured out today. We can pick your date now and decide on the location and all the fun details closer to your session.

Today is a little different on this page.

My oldest baby is graduating. 🎓❤️

As a photographer, I’ve spent years capturing milestones for other families, but today it’s my turn to stand on the other side of the camera and soak it all in.

It feels impossible that we’ve arrived at this moment. It seems like just yesterday I was holding her hand on her first day of school, and now I’m watching her walk across the stage as a confident, talented, and compassionate young woman.

One of the greatest joys has been watching her find her passion, her confidence, and her people. Seeing her grow into exactly who she is meant to be has been the privilege of a lifetime.

To my daughter: I am endlessly proud of you - not just for what you’ve accomplished, but for the person you’ve become. No matter where life takes you next, I will always be your biggest fan.

Today, we celebrate you. Congratulations my girl! The world is waiting, and I know you’re going to do amazing things. ❤️🎓
