The wind on a wedding day

The way it catches a veil, moves a dress, and brings life to everything around it. While wedding days are often filled with moments of stillness, the wind is a reminder that some things can’t be controlled, and that there’s a magic in the chaos of movement.

With 50 km/h winds on this day, it felt like there had to be some symbolic meaning behind it(I was convinced to find something). Sure enough, across many cultures, wind symbolizes change and new beginnings. It arrives without warning (like love ;)), carrying us toward places we may have never expected to go.

As Lara and Alex begin this next chapter together, the symbolism feels fitting. A new season, new adventures, and through it all, they’ll have each other

wherever THE WIND may take them.

Over the past three years, it has been such a privilege to witness and document so many moments within this friend group, these two have both been in wedding parties and as guests, making it all the more meaningful to be there for this milestone and the beginning of their next adventure together.

looking back on k&e whimsical summer wedding.

These two have always gone above and beyond for the people they love, and they’re never at a loss for words when it comes to expressing just how much those relationships mean to them. Their wedding was centred around that very value, surrounding themselves with their closest family and friends and inviting them to walk alongside them into this next chapter as newlyweds.

As for me, I find myself short on words when trying to express how grateful I am to have witnessed so many chapters of their story. Documenting this one was truly an honour.

bits and pieces of Portugal on film 🎞️

hope you don’t mind sharing a bit of travel and personal work amongst weddings and family. 🥹

spending 10 days; from slowing down at the beach along the Algarve to the hustle of the city in Lisbon. Meeting so many incredible people from around the world on the tours we joined, getting to know restaurant owners, or heart to hearts with locals over dinner- traveling is such a beautiful privilege

As per usual- if love last navigating & driving the downtown streets of Europe in a manual it’s meant to be 😅

there was beautiful chaos and calmness all at the same time
