Morla and Adrian's wedding at River's Edge at the Arlington in Paris was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a couple trusts the process and gives me the freedom to create.
We photographed their first look downtown, explored the Arlington Hotel for portraits, made the most of the changing light by the Grand River, and documented a fantastic reception featuring a traditional Chinese Lion Dance.
I especially loved creating their final nighttime photograph, using the bridge, balcony, and lively dance floor to bring the day to a memorable close.
Every couple has their own ideas, priorities, and story. I bring my experience and creative perspective to help turn those things into photographs that feel personal.

Scotsdale Farm engagement photos with a country feel.
Amanda and Brandon chose Scotsdale Farm because it matched what they love — country music, cowboy boots, open fields, barns, and being outdoors.
I wanted to give them much more than one look.
By starting in the late afternoon, we were able to work through direct sunlight, backlight, golden hour, sunset and twilight, using different parts of the farm along the way.
But the most important part wasn't the variety of light.
It was listening to what they loved.
When I knew dramatic off-camera flash didn't fit their country style, I didn't use it. I wanted the photographs to feel like Amanda and Brandon, not like a technique I wanted to show off.
And this engagement session became something even more valuable — a chance for us to learn how we worked together before their Troy Farms wedding past weekend.
The result was a collection of images that felt completely connected to who they are.

Dominique + Emiliano's Butterfly Conservatory wedding was one of those weddings where everything had a story.
Their ceremony took place early in the morning inside the Butterfly Conservatory in Cambridge, surrounded by tropical plants, waterfalls, and butterflies.
The timing was tight. The Conservatory would soon open to the public; we had family photos and couple portraits to complete, and a second celebration waiting for us later that evening in Vaughan.
Somehow, we captured everything.
And then a butterfly landed on Emiliano's head and stayed there for several minutes. 🦋
But the day didn't end there.
After photographing their morning wedding, I returned to the studio, prepared a slideshow with up to 250 photographs from that same morning, and drove to their evening reception to present it to their family and friends.
It was a long, busy, incredibly rewarding day.

Michael and Sabrina's proposal at Distillery District during the Christmas Market was one of those events where everything had to go right.

It was one of the busiest times of the year, parking was difficult, the entrance was crowded, and the proposal itself could have happened within seconds.
We planned everything in advance, and once I finally got inside, I had only minutes to find my position before Michael and Sabrina arrived.

He dropped to one knee.
She was completely surprised.

And somehow, through all the people and Christmas Market activity around them, we captured the moment.

Afterward, we moved through the Distillery District for a more relaxed engagement-style session, using the Christmas lights, heart sign, and some quieter spots for intimate nighttime portraits.

A reminder that photographing a surprise proposal isn't just about taking the pictures.
A lot of the work happens before the couple ever arrives.

Angela and Anthony's Kortright Centre for Conservation wedding was the third photography experience we shared.
After two very different engagement sessions, we already knew each other well—and that connection became incredibly valuable on their wedding day.
Their wedding included an emotional Italian family celebration at home, an outdoor ceremony at the Cathedral of Trees, forest portraits, and a beautiful reception at Montecassino Event Venue in Vaughan.
There were also plenty of moving parts: a second photographer, videographers, content creators, a live painter, unpredictable weather, and a long 14-hour wedding day.
For me, the most meaningful part wasn't simply photographing all of those things.
It was being involved enough to listen, help when needed, solve problems, and then use my experience to create photographs that felt like Angela and Anthony.
This wedding is another reminder of something I believe strongly:
I don't have just one look. I have a way of seeing.

Sarah and Justin's Copetown Woods wedding was a true fall fairytale.
Their day combined a rustic outdoor ceremony in the forest with a beautiful golf club reception, giving us an incredible variety of locations and lighting throughout the wedding.
I photographed their getting-ready moments in Mount Pleasant and Brantford before meeting them at Copetown Woods for their first look and wedding portraits.
From there, we moved through the rolling hills and forest before photographing their outdoor ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
As the sun began to set, we took advantage of the beautiful back patio and deck for golden-hour portraits. Later in the evening, I went outside to plan one final set of images for Sarah and Justin.
With almost no surrounding light pollution, we incorporated the stars into their nighttime wedding photographs using off-camera flash.
It was one of those wedding days where every location offered something different.
Having Erika with me as my 2nd photographer made it even better. After 13 years of working together, we know how to work as a team while still giving each other the freedom to create.

Walking Into Their Next Chapter 🌿❤️

A warm August afternoon, golden-hour light, and a beautiful country setting created the perfect atmosphere for this engagement session.

I loved using the natural lines of the path and the surrounding trees to lead us toward this beautiful couple—almost like a little preview of where they're headed next.

Their Fall wedding is just around the corner, and I can't wait to continue their story. ❤️

Neidin and James' Pearle Hotel wedding was especially meaningful to me because it continued a relationship with their family that had begun many years earlier.
I first met Neidin at her sister Claire and Gary's wedding. Since then, I've photographed their family sessions, growing families, important milestones, and many other memories.
When Neidin contacted me almost three years before her wedding, I was incredibly excited to photograph her wedding day finally.
Their day took us from The Pearle Hotel & Spa to St. Andrew Church in Oakville, the Oakville waterfront, Erchless Estate, the Oakville Lighthouse, and back to The Pearle for their reception.
With 13 hours of coverage and no second photographer, I documented their wedding using a combination of documentary photography, creative portraits, available light, and off-camera lighting.
There were plenty of unexpected challenges along the way, including crowds at the lighthouse, a busy festival around Burlington, limited time with their Rolls-Royce, and even a surprise 12-foot ladder that helped me photograph more than 100 guests outside the church!
But that's one of the things I love most about wedding photography. The plan gives us direction, but experience allows us to adapt when the unexpected happens.
