I don't know what you did this weekend, but I made a new furry friend.
Meet Chippy McChiperton, lord of my garage and the most handsome dude ever! This little fella has been coming close to me for the last week or so, and drinking out of Holly's old outside water bowl. Today, I broke out the sunflower seeds, filled up the bowl a little higher, and after a couple hours...I have a new friend!

From the first day I met you in May of 2017, to today...my very last day with you....
You've always been my special girl. My last girl. The one who challenged me the most, but gave me the most beautiful heart to love. The protector that always made sure everyone was safe, the girl who loved the never ending pets. The one who always slept with me, either on my bed or beside it. The one who kept my secrets. I cannot believe you're gone. My heart is so broken😭😭😭💔💔💔 I'm glad your sister and my dad were there to greet you today...but my house is so quiet without your barkestra and cuddles.

Until we meet again, my sweet cow dog! May you forever chase skunks and squirrels, and play with your sisters endlessly! Keep dad safe until I can I see you all again! Love you forever!

Lost in the stars tonight. All I see is an infinite universe where everything and anything is possible. I also see a sea of diamonds across a black blanket. I see peace..calmness... clarity....sheer beauty!

Going through photos and found the gem!
It was wild to see a billboard of David Bowie on route to the Mastodon concert!
He will always be my favorite musician, my hero, my muse, and I give all the love and thanks to my Dad for introducing me to him when I was at the tender age of 4! Yep, I've had a 40 year obsession with this man! His music has given me clarity and comfort through all the different stages of my life ❤️

This little oak leaf fell before me this evening and my artist eye went straight to work.
Many would have just seen a leaf, I saw the shadow and the light. The underlying beauty of what the universe presented before me.

Finally got to check them off my bucket list. I wish I could have gotten closer for some better pics, but it was wall to wall people...and I'm too old to be in the mosh pit!
