Round 2 is always shorter. Your internal temp is already so high that the sweat is instantaneous. Plus when you sit in the hottest seat like I do....it happens even quicker! All the sweat, less of the toxins, all the stress relief!

I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend and got some serious relaxation in!

I just want to send out a huge thank you to all my friends, and the people that I don't know personally, for following my photography page!
All of you make me feel like my art is worth sharing. Somewhere along the vast ocean that is my life, I never felt like My photography was worth looking at. I kept it to myself for many years, until one day I decided that I just want to show the world that there are small beautiful moments around us all the time and we need to indulge in them.
My personal page is filled with silly or motivational things that make me laugh and smile (if you're on that...I hope it makes you smile too), while this is what my quiet little life is actually all about. Thank you! From the bottom of my heart! All of you help me feel like this is worth it ❣️

I never created this sanctuary (that I call home) just for me. I created it so that the wonderful little lives around me could enjoy it too. I created a pond from an old bathtub to help give a water source when they're thirsty. I created a log pile and a debris pile for them to hide in to feel safe. I created flower gardens (and kept my berry bushes) to feed them, I created this for all life. This yard, this life, this universe was never just mine...but something to share with all beings great and small. I give them what they need because they bring great joy to my little black heart.

Basalt, quartz, granite, jasper, agate, unakite, serpentite...all the different types of stone that make up my haul from our trip to Superior.
All are beautiful, but the four in my hand hold a special type of energy and place in my heart.
The one with a red dot on it...that's my favorite agate that I have ever found! It was the first stone I found after I said goodbye to Dad. I've never found a stone like it in all my years of rock hounding!
Maybe him and the universe sent it my way as a reminder! Extraordinary 🤩

Well the rain yesterday put a damper on our project 🤣
But the weather definitely cooperated today!
Got the second gable end almost completely finished! Have a bit of fascia and staining to do still, but the boards are up, and the peak and windows are capped! Woohoo 🙌
Huge thank you to my Mom, Uncle, and Raili for pulling this off with me! All us Finns used the Sisu within 💪😎 Love you 3 forever and always!!!

The whole family got together this weekend to finish my siding.

Have some staining left to do, but getting the boards up was the top priority! Tomorrow we finish the other side.

This is Alona Bay lookout along Lake Superior. Just a quiet little pit stop right off Hwy 17.
I'm so thankful to get to witness this site with my Äiti (Mom)!
I am so glad you said yes to trekking here with me!
This has to be one of my most favorite views of Superior 😍🤩
The rocks, the water, the distant shores. Perfect! The colours, the light, the everything about it.
But you, Äiti, made it the most beautiful moment ever! I love this photo of us together so much!

Awwwww... someone's so tired!
Holly had such a grand adventure with us 3 ladies! We did so much hiking and traveling that all my little lady wants is to be cuddled up next to her momma for a little cuddle time. My sweet little senior Pupperoni ❤️
