And the last of my remaining outdoor season dates for the Grande Prairie 2026 year:

August 21st
September 9th, 10th, 11th, 27th, 18th, 28th, 30th
October 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th

Fall colours are brightest towards the end of September to early October.

Sessions take place 75 min to sunset.

The summer has seemed to fly by. I find myself trying to hold on tight to these days because I know once September starts the kiddos will be a whole other grade older. And it just doesn't sit right with me. I find myself being more and more aware of just how fast it all goes as the kids get older. I find myself snapping in and out of being present some days. Almost like I am coming out of a trance that reminds me "HEY, these are the good old days. The ones you will do anything to relive". And so I work extra hard to be engaged and responsive, even if that comes at the expense of my business. Which is something I have definitely let slide lately. It's not easy trying to be a present stay at home parent while also trying to keep a busy photography business stay busy. I find myself often feeling like I am failing at many things all at once.

Anyways, here are some pretty photos from a past session. Just another reminder that family photos are more than just for the toddlers. You can capture beautiful memories with your big kids too. Although I know most moms still look at their teens like they were just teaching them their colours and now they are practically a whole adult.
