this summer has been slow, i’ve been prioritizing myself, my family, my hobbies and not so much on my work. at first i felt guilty, i felt like people might forget about me and i wouldn’t be able to pick back up. then i realized maybe i don’t need to stress about it that much, i’m past the point of spreading myself thin, undercharging my worth and trying to compete.
my people know i’m here.

happy world breastfeeding week 🤍

behind every breastfeeding journey is a story no one else fully sees.

the quiet middle of the night feeds
the tears
the cracked skin
the moments of doubt
the relief when things finally begin to click
the grief when they don’t

breastfeeding is so much more than feeding a baby. it’s learning, surrendering, healing and trusting yourself through one of the biggest transitions you’ll ever experience.

and while every journey is different, one thing remains the same

education and support can change everything.

when families are given evidence based information, compassionate care and someone to stand beside them instead of simply telling them to “keep trying,” they are more likely to feel empowered, informed and supported no matter how their journey unfolds.

this week, i celebrate every parent who has loved their baby through feeding in whatever way was right for them. and i hope we continue building a world where no one has to walk those early days feeling alone.

because sometimes the greatest difference isn’t made by having all the answers

it’s made by having someone who stays beside you while you find them. 🤍

2.5 years after having my second babe and i’m finding my pink again 🌸

motherhood reshaped me (twice) in the softest, strongest ways but somewhere in the giving i misplaced little pieces of myself

lately i’ve been pouring back into me
moving my body
loving my family with intention
slowing down for the things that make me feel alive

i’m not trying to squeeze into who i used to be or into clothes that no longer feel like mine
i’m choosing what fits me now in every way

and somehow this version feels fuller
warmer
more like home
