I’ve always been drawn to movement, texture, and the little details. J’ai toujours été attirée par le mouvement, les textures et les petits détails.

Wind in the hair.
A dress that catches the breeze.
Hands that have somewhere to rest.
Natural emotion over perfect poses.

That’s the kind of photography that inspires me, and it’s the kind of work I love creating.

Les cheveux portés par le vent.
Une robe qui suit la brise.
Des mains qui trouvent naturellement leur place.
L’émotion sincère plutôt que des poses parfaites.

C’est le genre de photographie qui m’inspire, et c’est celui que j’aime créer.

Today I led my second photography workshop with the campers at Camp Fort Haldimand in collaboration with Vision Gaspé-Percé Now📸

One of my favourite things about teaching photography is seeing what happens when someone picks up a camera and starts looking at the world a little differently. Suddenly, light matters. Shadows become interesting. Ordinary moments become art.

I especially love that today’s workshop focused on light and ended with the campers photographing my puppy Finch as their model. 🤣
