Aidan m’a contactée pour organiser une demande en mariage SURPRISE au Cap Bon-Ami 👀✨

Mon plan de couverture ? Faire semblant d’observer les oiseaux avec ma caméra 😅

Pendant qu’Eleanor admirait le paysage, Aidan s’est agenouillé dans une lumière dorée parfaite 🌞💛 Elle a dit OUI à travers ses larmes, et mon cœur battait à mille à l’heure !

On a ensuite rejoint la plage de galets pour profiter de l’heure bleue et célébrer leurs tout premiers instants comme fiancés. J’ai adoré capturer leur complicité.
Merci infiniment Aidan et Eleanor pour votre confiance ! 💛💙

Aidan reached out to plan a SURPRISE proposal at Cap Bon-Ami 👀✨

My cover story? Pretending to be an undercover birdwatcher with my camera 😅

While Eleanor took in the view, Aidan dropped to one knee in pure golden light 🌞💛 She said YES through happy tears, and my heart was racing!

We then headed down to the pebble beach to catch the blue hour and celebrate their very first moments as an engaged couple. I so enjoyed capturing their complicity.

ITS MY BIRTHDAY 🎂 C’EST MA FÊTE

Histoire vraie : Quand j’ai eu 4 ans, ma mère a convaincu son frère (mon oncle) de se déguiser en CLOWN pour ma fête 🤡

Il est arrivé en tenant des ballons, avec ses gros souliers et sa perruque rouge 🎈🎈🎈 (après s’être fait courir après par un chien pas attaché 😅)

Est-ce que j’ai eu peur ? Non… parce que je l’ai reconnu !!!! 🧐🥲 Mon oncle était déçu de s’être fait repérer sous le maquillage, mais on a passé une très belle journée au « Rigolfeur » pareil 🤪🤪🤪

J’ai totalement fait exprès… 🙄🙄🙄

Ben non, s’tun mensonge! 🥲 Quelque chose à « mal » viré lorsque j’ai developpé mes rouleaux de films couleur et puis… POUF! Un effet TIEDYE surprise s’est infiltré!

Au début, j’étais vraiment déçue d’avoir raté ma session de développement et j’ai laissé mes scans traîner dans mon catalogue, intouchées.

Plusieurs mois plus t**d, avec du recul… je les aime vraiment! Comme quoi, des fois, on fait des erreurs, mais on peut laisser la poussière retomber et s’accueillir là-dedans ☺️🙃

Well, no, that’s a lie! 🥲 Something went “wrong” when I developed my rolls of color film, and then… P**F! A surprise tie-dye effect snuck in!

At first, I was really disappointed that I’d messed up my developing session, so I just let my scans sit in my catalog, untouched.

Several months later, looking back… I really love them! It just goes to show that sometimes we make mistakes, but we can let the dust settle and embrace what comes of it ☺️🙃

Pour ce shoot, j’avais envie d’amener le look studio en nature ⚡️☁️ Le ciel nuageux mélangé avec le flash donnait le effet surréaliste escompté 😏

NATURE MORTE 🖤🎞️🤍 STILL LIFE

Avec 3 objets: un buste, un bouquet de lilas et un papillon encadré, j’ai capturé ces images de type « nature morte » avec une caméra grand format (surnommée affectueusement la « big girl cam ») et une cassette d’adaptation pour film moyen format ✨🤪

Une fois de retour à la maison, une session de développement et de scan s’imposait 🤓🎞️

Voici les résultats de mon projet créatif au studio de mon ami et collègue Yves .photo

With 3 objects: a bust, a bouquet of lilacs and a framed butterfly, I captured these still lifes with a large format camera (affectionately nicknamed “big girl cam”) with a medium format film insert ✨🤪

Once back home, a development and scanning session was a must 🎞️🤪
