You'll want to see this original Canadian production "Sisters of '78" on stage at Blyth Festival until Aug 9th.
Fleck Strikers changed Canadian labour laws -this historical drama tells the story - based on the true story of employees, (mostly women) who endured horrific working conditions, low wages and workplace harassment until they went on strike. Set in Centralia, the play chronicles how these local heroines ultimately changed Canadian labour law.
