I absolutely love lavender season 💜

It’s such a magical time of summer — the incredible fragrance, the soft colors, and that special atmosphere that makes you want to soak it all in. I simply adore it!

And imagine combining all of this with a winery, a French vibe , and an incredible family…

It creates a little French story right here in Ontario.

Thank you to this beautiful farm Bonnieheath Estate Lavender Farm & Winery for creating such a special place and allowing us to enjoy its beauty. 🌿

And a special thank you to this incredible family Eve Wehner for trusting me to capture their own lavender story. 💜

Honestly, I have one problem — I find it really hard to choose which photos to post 😂

Because I come back from almost every photoshoot with so many beautiful images that putting together just one post feels like a real challenge for me 🙈

I’m constantly trying to learn how to be more selective, but so far… it’s not really working 😂

So if you see 10–15 photos from the same photoshoot in one post, just know that I was already trying really hard to hold myself back

Let me share a little behind-the-scenes from our photo day with these girls. We created such beautiful magic together. ;)

There’s no limit to what we’ll do for the perfect shots — we brought a smoke machine into the forest, candles, a real vintage kerosene lamp, flower crowns, and the most beautiful outfits.

Sometimes life in a big city looks like a beautiful picture—skyscrapers, bright lights, endless opportunities. But behind all of that, there’s often a very different reality.

Especially when you’re an immigrant.

It can feel like you’re constantly riding an emotional roller coaster. One day, it feels like your whole world is falling apart—that you’re overwhelmed and have no strength left. Then the next day, you wake up, and somehow it doesn’t seem quite so bad. A little hope returns, and you start believing that everything will work out.

I think almost everyone who has had to start over in a new country goes through moments like these.

If you’re struggling right now, if you feel like you’re facing everything alone, please know this: you’re not alone.

There are far more people around you going through the same emotions than you might think. Most of them just don’t talk about it.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Don’t be afraid to be open. And never forget that even the hardest seasons eventually come to an end.

Take care of yourself. Keep believing in better days. And remember—after every storm, the sun shines again. ❤️
