If you know me you know I'm comfortable with asking complete strangers to do a spontaneous photo session.

Yesterday my daughter and I visited Bee Kind Blooms on our way to a photo session close to Kitchener area because yesterday was the last day they were open. I seen two ladies walking and one was dressed perfectly for a photo session so I was obligated to ask her lol!! Thank you Courtney for saying yes!

I love all the little details that this field has including Ice Cream and barbeque and these little signs. 🪧 The sign that I posted is specifically special to me because I know that people have prayed for me and I have prayed for loved ones so I just want it to be a reminder that you are someone's answered prayer 🙏🏻!

Her Story in Focus

Her Story in Focus started with one woman sharing a dream.

Back in January, I posted on my Instagram story, “Tell me your dream session and I’ll make it come to life.”

Sara Sara Neufeld reached out and shared her vision for a breast cancer victory session. Her words stayed with me, and by May, I started planning.

What began as one woman’s dream quickly became something bigger.

I wanted to create an opportunity for other women who had been affected by breast cancer to celebrate their strength, their journey, and their stories.

Seven incredible women came together, each with a story of their own. Four bravely shared their testimonies, allowing us to see the women behind the diagnosis.

That was the heart of Her Story in Focus.

It was never just about the photographs. It was about celebrating her.

Her strength.
Her courage.
Her beauty.
Her story.

The event also raised funds for Chatham-Kent Hospice in honour of Sara’s friend who lost her life to breast cancer.

One woman shared her dream, and it became a day created for so many women to feel seen, celebrated, and reminded that their story matters.

This beautiful family travelled over two hours to have me photograph them, and it was truly an honour! I love that their eldest son loves playing guitar 🎸 He even brought it along to the session.
