I never know what I’m going to find when I look through an old church window. ❤️

I’ve photographed a lot of windows, but I haven’t always been lucky enough to capture a reflection through one. I’ve had the honour of doing it twice, and this is one of them.

This place holds a lot of memories for me. It was one of the first places I explored with my favourite human, and it’s also where I released balloons on the first anniversary of my Dad’s passing.

A very peaceful place, with a lot of meaning behind it. ❤️

This summer hasn’t looked anything like I thought it would.

Last year at the cabin, it was quiet moments like this — trees, fresh air, and simple beauty. This season has been filled with change, and I’ve been a little quiet here while working through some things .

But even in the shift, there’s been so much to be grateful for — time with loved ones, new life being welcomed, and small moments that remind me what really matters.

I’m slowly finding my way back and looking forward to sharing more soon.

Hey everyone! I’m Tinei, and I’ve seen some new followers joining recently. I’m excited to introduce myself and connect with all of you! 🤙🏾

So a few things about me:

I was born in American Samoa, in Tafuna, and was chosen into a wonderful family with three big brothers. I’ve always been creative—drawing, painting, even doodling in church as a kid (haha). Creativity became my escape through life’s hard moments, and later, a way to move through grief.

My love for photography started with my dad, who has since passed. Watching him always made me dream about what I could create one day. I never went to school for photography—I’m self-taught and still learning. I truly believe there’s always room to grow.

Over time, that dream turned into something real. I’ve had my own photography shows, and now my work is sold locally and across Canada. My dad always told me I had a gift—and that it came from God. So as long as I’m here, I want to use it to bless others, to make people pause, feel something, and stay curious.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for your support. I hope to keep bringing you nostalgic, colourful moments through my lens.
