Morning Great Blue Heron
Early morning sun bathing. A welcomed visitor to our creek in the backyard. I could see his morning glow shimmering through thick branches and leaves from the comfort of my deck some 50+ meters away. Knew this would be a good opportunity to try out the new Sigma 300-600mm. Couldn’t be happier for the image quality and the way this turned out. Hope you like. More to come from the evening when he returned.

Under dabbled shade, “a found memory” indeed… visited an urban trail (RedHill Valley Trail) that used to be frequent haunt in Hamilton this past weekend. So nice to see this part of the trail again. Seems like forever. 🌳💚
