Sue came in wearing a white t-shirt, just as she was. Then came hair and makeup, an outfit from the studio wardrobe, and a little guidance on posing.

Most of my clients tell me they hate having their picture taken. I hear it almost every day, and I understand. That’s why I guide you through every part of it.

Who would you bring?
Girls Day Out is back for November and December. Gather 3 or 4 of your favourite women for a Friday or Saturday afternoon at the studio. Each of you gets professional hair and makeup and your own individual guided photoshoot, with drinks and light bites while you wait your turn. Then we finish with a reveal party where you choose your favourite portraits together.

Fridays and Saturdays, 3 to 6 pm. Only one group per afternoon.

I love a good before and after, not because someone needs to look different, but because it shows what's possible with the right lighting, styling and posing.

Most of the women I photograph aren't used to being in front of a camera, and that's perfectly fine. You don't need to know your angles, how to pose or what to do with your hands. That's all part of my job.

Professional hair and makeup, wardrobe styling, set design, and direction every step of the way makes for some really beautiful portraits.

I loved photographing this family of six. We kept the wardrobe simple with everyone in black and went for family portraits, but with a more editorial feel. We created a mix of the whole family together, different groupings, and individual portraits of everyone.

I love how the whole collection came together, classic, a little dramatic, but still them.

We had three generations in the studio for this session, Grandma & Grampa, their identical twin daughters, and their daughters.

These are the kinds of portraits that only become more meaningful with time, a record of where you came from, who you belong to, and the people who share a little (or in this case, a LOT) of your DNA.

We had such a fun session with Krystle! She’s an educator and the owner of the newly opened Nitro Cheer Elite in Fredericton.

Krystle was up for anything, so we leaned into bold, playful color and had so much fun with it. But of course, we had to mix in a little drama too, because one side could never tell the whole story. I love creating portraits that show all different dimensions of who someone is.
