It’s always hard to see something that has meant so much to the local arts community come to an end.
Fireweed was a wonderful opportunity for local artists to put their work out there, meet people, and have a place in the community to share what we create. I’m grateful that I had the chance to be part of it and to have my photography on the walls and shelves alongside the work of so many talented local artists.
For my Thunder Bay followers, if you haven’t been to Fireweed recently, I encourage you to stop in before they close. Take a look around, support a local artist, and maybe find something special to take home with you.
