I always start my sessions with poses and here's why👇

- it's when kids (and pets) are most willing to sit and smile
- it gives everyone time to settle in, get comfortable and open up
- sometimes parents just want a few classic posed shots and that's totally fine
- once we're done, candids start and by then everyone is comfortable
**These are by far my favourite photos and I'll be willing to be yours too!! **

Call me crazy but I'm a sucker for the small moments.

Posed photos are great - you get everyone in one shot and paying attention but the candids 🫶 the candids have my heart.

These are the true moments where you capture the connection between people. The real laughs, the love and affection, the little details you don't want to forget.

When you show up for the session and focus on each other, that's where the best moments lie

What makes me different as a ✨ photographer ✨

1. I believe child-led photoshoots are the best. Letting them be them leads to a good buy-in. They're happier, more willing to participate, and honestly you'll capture their personality and genuine smiles - everyone wins.

2. Candid moments > poses

3. Not charging when the session goes slightly over.
The worst thing, especially with young kids, is feeling rushed to stick within a time limit. Kids will be kids, especially babies, you're on their schedule.
I want my clients to feel at ease, have fun taking the photos and love the result 🖤

4. Polaroids to end 📷
It's always exciting to get your gallery back and no one wants to wait.
I love doing a Polaroid at the end as a little memento.
